# Get Started with Clever School Systems AI Tools

> Enable the AI Tools module and start exploring image generation and other experimental AI features with your school staff.

Enable the AI Tools module to give your staff a safe space to explore and demonstrate AI capabilities within Clever School Systems.

<Note>Initial setup requires Administrator access. AI Tools are experimental features.</Note>

## Quick Start

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enable the module">
    Go to **Administration > Modules** and enable **AI Tools**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign an AI Tools Manager">
    Go to **Administration > Users** and assign the AI Tools Manager role to one or more members of staff.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the module">
    Reload the page and select **AI Tools** from the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try image generation">
    Enter a prompt and generate an image. Share the result with staff to start a conversation about AI.
  </Step>

## Current Limitations

* Currently only image generation is enabled.
* Tools are experimental and not intended for critical school workflows.
* More tools will be added as the module develops.

<Tip>AI Tools work well in CPD sessions — they give staff a low-stakes environment to experiment with AI and build confidence before using external tools.</Tip>
