School calendars repeat year after year — but manually copying events forward is time-consuming and error-prone. The School Calendar module automates the roll-forward process and gives you easy ways to share events with parents, staff, and students via iCal links they can subscribe to on any device. ## Key Features * Create and publish event calendars across the whole school year. * Split calendars into subsections to share different levels of detail with different audiences (staff, governors, parents). * Publish using iCal links for integration with personal calendar apps and school websites. * Staff can subscribe and receive a weekly digest of upcoming events. * Easily transfer events forward to future years. ## iCal Integration Each calendar — and each subsection within it — has a unique iCal feed URL. An iCal feed is a standard format that any calendar application can read and subscribe to. Parents and staff can add the URL to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other app that supports iCal subscriptions. Once added, events update automatically whenever you make changes — there is no need to re-send links or notify anyone individually. You can also embed an iCal URL directly on your school website so that a live calendar widget always reflects your latest published events with no manual updates needed.
