Collecting enrolment information from parents manually is time-consuming and error-prone. The Enrolment module lets parents submit all the key information you need online — and imports it directly into your Management Information System (MIS) using the DfE ATF protocol. ## Benefits for Schools * Streamlines the enrolment process for office staff. * Eliminates manual data entry into the MIS. * Reduces data entry errors. * Gathers medical, educational, and consent information in one place. * Creates a file record of all data provided by each family. ## Benefits for Parents * Simple login via email/password or social media — no extra account needed. * Reassurance from providing detailed personal information directly to the school. * Receives a confirmation of what the school has received. ## Key Features * Add students individually for in-year admissions or in bulk for new intake. * Parents receive invitation emails and complete the enrolment form online. * Import data to your MIS via the DfE ATF protocol. * Additional data (medical, educational) is printed per student for office files. * Gather consents for trips and visits, use of photographs, and biometric data. ## DfE ATF Export Once parents have submitted their enrolment forms, you can export the completed data as a DfE ATF (Admissions Transfer File) — the standard file format used across the UK for transferring pupil data between systems. The ATF file can be imported directly into all major MIS platforms including SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor, and iMPACT. Any additional information captured through Clever School — such as medical details or educational background — is not included in the ATF format but can be printed as a per-student summary for your physical office files.
