# Orthodox SEF: Self-Evaluation for Orthodox Faith Schools
> The Orthodox SEF module provides a structured self-evaluation framework for Orthodox faith schools to evaluate against relevant inspection criteria.
The Orthodox SEF module provides Orthodox faith schools with a structured, collaborative framework for self-evaluation. It helps your leadership team evaluate practice against the relevant inspection criteria and produce clear, evidence-based summaries for governors and inspectors.
## What the SEF Covers
The Orthodox SEF module is organised to take your school from contextual scene-setting through to detailed, criterion-by-criterion evaluation:
* **School context statements** — set the scene before evaluative sections, so that any reader understands your school's circumstances
* **Progress against the previous inspection's priorities** — record the key priorities from your last inspection and document your school's response to them
* **High-level school development plan summary** — capture your current development plan at a summary level, reflected across the relevant framework areas
* **For each framework area:**
* Individual criteria evaluations — record your school's position against each criterion
* Optional evidence detail — add supporting evidence at the level of detail that suits your school, with hyperlinks for extensive documentation
* A four-part area summary — actions taken, impact of those actions, current strengths, and priorities for further development

* **Hyperlink detailed evidence** — attach or link supporting evidence directly to the relevant criteria evaluation
