Enable the Applications module to start collecting sixth-form applications from both external candidates and your current students.
Initial setup requires Administrator access.

Quick Start

1

Enable the module

Go to Administration > Modules and enable Applications.
2

Assign an Applications Manager

Go to Administration > Users and assign the Applications Manager role to one or more members of staff.
3

Open the module

Reload the page and select Applications from the sidebar.
4

Configure your course list

Add the subjects and courses available in your sixth form so that applicants can select from them.
5

Share the application link

Share the application form URL with prospective students — for example, via your school website, at your open evening, or by email.

Managing Applications

  • View all received applications in the Applications dashboard.
  • Filter by subject to see demand for specific courses.
  • Contact applicants directly from the system.

Internal Student Preferences

  • Internal students receive a link to record their course preferences without completing a full application.
  • Their preferences appear alongside external applications in the same planning view.
Review aggregate course preferences before making offers — this helps with curriculum planning and ensures you can staff all courses being offered.
